Survive Bikini Bottom Map

Fog is a gate. The compass is how you stop guessing reefs.

Map and Locations

Survive Bikini Bottom does not hand you the whole island on spawn. The Jelly Hive is the spawn, the revive, and the only honest night circle. Depositing jelly fills a meter. At 100 the hive levels up, fog pulls back, and a new landmark becomes legal. Walking into unopened fog is how night-one runs end. This page is the geography index. Pair it with rescue residents for escort steps and with workbench for the two crafts that make the map readable.

Hive levels are map unlocks

HiveWhat opens
1Starting ring. Jellyfish, nearby junk, the first chests.
2Krusty Krab and Mr. Krabs. Workbench comes online.
3Chum Bucket Warehouse and Squidward. Construction Table language appears.
4Sandy’s Treedome. Boss first, then the walk home.
5Boating School and Patrick. Three keys, three towers.
6Chum Bucket maze and SpongeBob. Last escort.

The hive meter at zero does the opposite of a level-up: lights die, the safe circle vanishes, the bench locks, and skeletons plus the Sea Bear treat camp as open water. Feed before you sightseeing.

Two crafts that are the map

Public recipe tables keep repeating the same cheap pair:

  • Treasure Map — about 3 Jelly Units, limit 1. Opens the island map from anywhere so you are not jogging home to remember a street.
  • Pirate Compass — about 3 Scraps, limit 1. Points at residents. Craft this before you hunt Squidward by vibes.

Survivalist starts with both items and pays about 80 Doubloons for the privilege. Everyone else should craft them at hive 2. The crafting planner is the same advice in checklist form.

A Foghorn Alarm Clock (scraps) tells you how much day or night is left. Use it when you are far from camp and deciding whether a chest is worth the walk.

Landmarks worth a daytime stop

  • Police stations. Community routes treat jail cells as a reliable spatula source. Grab one before Sandy. Do not live there.
  • Abandoned streets and wrecks. Scrap, chests, and the junk that fills a Pioneer bag. Skip a chest if the first roll is trash.
  • Jellyfish fields. The hive faucet. Jellyfisher and traps help; extinction curses on Hardcore punish anyone who treated fields as infinite.
  • Resident buildings. Krusty Krab, warehouse, Treedome, Boating School, Chum Bucket. Each one is a key puzzle plus an escort, not a screenshot location.

Do not invent a Trello pin for a side shack. If a Friday patch adds a building, the live compass will point before a blog does.

How to walk the island without feeding the bear

Daytime is for distance. Nighttime is for the circle. The controls page covers the backpack-in-hand pickup rule: you can drag one extra item when the bag is full, which is how a key or a resident beats a fourth scrap pile.

Sprint only on lit ground you have already opened. The Quickster Pad from Workbench Tier 3 closes long escorts; it also yeets you into a brute if you steer like a montage. Read Day 100 before you use speed as a personality.

If the squad splits, one player holds the compass job. Two people “checking different fog” is how you get one downed body and one empty hive.

Fog is not a dare

A hive 3 lobby is allowed to say no to the Treedome. A hive 5 lobby is allowed to delay SpongeBob if raids already feel loud. Escorts inflate the day counter; they also inflate the next night. The rescue checklist exists so that sentence has a table.

Hardcore uses the same map. Curses do not move buildings. They make the walk between them more expensive. See Hardcore.

Who lives in each building: residents. How to walk them home: rescue. What hunts the streets: mobs. What to craft before you leave: workbench.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do I unlock more of the Survive Bikini Bottom map?

Feed the Jelly Hive until it levels. Each level pulls fog back and unlocks the next resident landmark.

Do I need Survivalist to see the map?

No. Craft a Treasure Map and Pirate Compass at hive level 2. Survivalist only starts with those items.

Where do I get a spatula?

Police station jail cells are the community-reliable stop. Grab one in daylight and leave.
