Survive Bikini Bottom Friday Update Tracker

A checklist for the weekly drop—not a fake changelog.

Friday Update Tracker

Survive Bikini Bottom’s marketing line is simple: new updates every Friday. This page is the player-side checklist for that cadence. It will not pretend we sat in every Thursday QA. It will tell you what to verify in the first hour after a drop so you do not learn about a pad nerf in the SpongeBob maze.

Pair it with the Updates Hub for tone and with BETA for why systems still feel unfinished.

First-hour test card

After you update Roblox and join the live place (universe 9161811618):

  1. Lobby. New class? New shop row? A Codes field? If a field exists, go to how to redeem. If not, leave the Codes Hub empty.
  2. Hive deposit. Does jelly still fill the meter at the old rate? A silent hunger change wrecks Sea Bear plans.
  3. Workbench. Any new row, any Tier 3 cost change, any Quickster handling change. Update the crafting planner if a recipe moved.
  4. One escort. Krabs is the canary. If his key holder moved, assume later keys moved and read residents again.
  5. One night. Window projectiles, bear stun, revive speed. Doctor mains should notice perk edits immediately.
  6. Badges / Doubloons. If a new badge appeared, the farm page needs a line.

What we log versus what we ignore

We log systems that change how you play. We ignore thumbnail swaps, lobby music, and “we fixed a typo” unless the typo was a recipe. We ignore leaked studio tweets that never hit the public place.

If two Fridays in a row only fix mobile buttons, the tracker will say that. Boredom is more honest than a fake “HUGE UPDATE” heading.

A note you can leave in Discord

“We tested hive deposit, bench rows, Krabs key, one night, shop for a codes field. Nothing new except X.” That sentence is more useful than a twenty-line copypasta. If X is empty, say empty. Then go run the rescue checklist instead of waiting for a second patch the same night.

Creators will still title videos “NEW UPDATE OP.” Watch the first thirty seconds for a real system. If it is a thumbnail class you already own, close it.

How Friday interacts with Day 100

A combat buff can make a montage easier. A raid density buff can make the same montage a wipe. After a Friday, do not assume last week’s Day 100 ammo plan still holds. Re-time the maze once.

Class ranks are conservative. We will not flip GG Rockstar out of S-tier because a creator yelled. We will flip it if energy restore is gutted and ketchup becomes king again—then the tier list moves.

Still learning the base game those patches sit on? Getting started. Need official channels? Where to find codes uses the same Discord and experience page. Review-level context: review.

If you miss Friday night, run the same test card on Saturday morning. The place does not roll back because you slept. The only thing you miss is the Discord argument about whether the pad feels worse.

Do not skip the shop check because you are sure codes are vapor. One Friday they will not be. The cost of looking is ten seconds. The cost of missing the first string is a week of comments saying we were late. Then go play. The tracker is a door, not a chair.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is there really an update every Friday?

That is the official promise. Some Fridays are small. Check lobby news before you assume a new class shipped.

Will this page list every historical patch?

No. It is a test card plus confirmed system changes. We will not fabricate old notes.

Do Friday updates add codes?

They have not so far. Watch the Codes Hub after the lobby check in step 1.
