Survive Bikini Bottom Rescue Every Bikini Bottom Resident
Hive gates, keys, escorts, and the order that does not waste days.
The missing locals are the real campaign in Survive Bikini Bottom. Survival keeps you alive; escorts unlock map, score, and the ending maze. You always bring them to the Jelly Hive. You always do it in daylight if you want the run to continue. This page is the how-to-find and how-to-complete route. Portraits, lore, and hive flavor text live on residents. The clickable order lives on the rescue checklist.
Fog hides a building until the hive is high enough. If your compass points at nothing, you are under-leveled, not lost. Feed jelly first.
The only order that matches the gates
| Hive level | Resident | Landmark | Extra condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Mr. Krabs | Krusty Krab | Key from nearby enemies |
| 3 | Squidward | Chum Bucket Warehouse | Tighter halls, stronger guards |
| 4 | Sandy | Treedome | Beat the hostile Sandy fight first |
| 5 | Patrick | Boating School | Three keys on towers and stairs |
| 6 | SpongeBob | Chum Bucket / castle maze | Helmets, keys, Plankton and robot fights |
Do not skip ahead. A level 4 squad that walks toward SpongeBob’s heading will hit fog or a lock they cannot open.
Shared escort rules
- Craft a compass before Squidward. Treasure maps help chests; the compass helps people.
- Clear the key holder, then the door, then the walk. Fighting the whole street is how you lose the daylight window.
- One player kites, one player interacts. The Sea Bear and brutes will punish a full commit.
- If night falls mid-walk, park inside a building or sprint home empty-handed. A dead escort wastes the key.
- You can drag a resident or a key when the bag is full. Do not drop the objective for scrap.
Mr. Krabs
First test. Upgrade the hive once, sweep the Krusty Krab for the enemy with the key, unlock, and walk him back. He teaches combat and the “daylight only” rule. If this escort feels impossible, you are starving the hive or fighting at dusk—fix that before you blame the class.
Squidward
Farther, narrower, meaner. Pack food and bandages. Lure guards off the door instead of stacking them. Construction table unlocks around this hive level; that is your cue to start real crafting, not a cue to wander at night.
Sandy
She starts as a boss. Bring a spatula or a reserved blaster, plus food and any shield you found. Learn her tells, do not panic-empty ammo, and escort the restored Sandy only after the fight ends. This is the first rescue that punishes a glass-cannon loadout. Bruiser or Doodle Bandit help if you already spent Doubloons.
Patrick
Vertical. Three keys live on towers and stair platforms. Mark them on the map, do not tunnel the first key and forget the others. Sea Bass and jellyfish on the walk home are more dangerous than the lock. Camp until morning if you finish the keys at dusk.
SpongeBob
Hive 6 only. The area is a maze with extra locks, helmets, and stacked bosses. Creators recommend two loaded ketchup blasters or equivalent range, plus the Quickster Pad for the approach—and the discipline not to crash the pad into a brute. This is the Day 100 bottleneck. If your raid defense is already failing, fortify a night before you enter.
After everyone is home
The counter will have jumped. Raids will not relax. Switch your reading to Sea Bear and weapons. If a teammate still needs a class for the next save, open farm Doubloons rather than restarting for a shop flex.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What order should I rescue characters?
Krabs, Squidward, Sandy, Patrick, SpongeBob. That order matches hive levels 2 through 6.
Can I rescue SpongeBob first?
No. His area stays hidden or locked until the hive is level 6 and the earlier gates are done.
Why did Sandy attack me?
Mid-game Sandy begins as a hostile fight. Beat that encounter, then escort the restored resident home.
